Moonpig singing charity card

Moonpig has created its first-ever collection of musical charity cards in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity)

The charity cards feature the joyful melodies of the GOSH & UCLH Staff Choir. So, when reading those festive well wishes from friends and family the recipient can also enjoy the choir’s rendition of Deck The Halls.

There are 12 singing GOSH-themed charity cards to choose from; each features a QR code on the back of the card which, when scanned, will bring up the option to play audio of the GOSH Arts Choir.

Sarah-Jane Porter, global design & licensing director at Moonpig, said: “We know that Christmas can be a difficult time, especially for those who can’t be with loved ones. That’s why we’ve partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital to create a range of cards that bring joy and connection, no matter where you are.”

Alongside this special card range, Moonpig is donating £50,000 in support of GOSH’s arts programme, funded by GOSH Charity, which works to bring joy to children who need it most. All funds raised will go towards supporting everything from creative workshops to heartwarming performances by musicians and West End stars, helping to bring creativity and enjoyment to the hospital and making Christmas feel like Christmas for families at GOSH over the festive season.

GOSH Charity’s deputy director of relationship fundraising, Sarah Bissell, said: “It’s fantastic to see this new range of cards go on sale in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity), and we are so grateful for the hugely generous donation from Moonpig. The funds raised will help make Christmas feel like Christmas for the children and their families at GOSH whose treatment has to continue over the festive season.”
