2024 GCA Conference logo

The Annual GCA Conference – held this year on September 19 in Bristol – not only provides a brilliant opportunity to network with fellow members from across the country but is also packed full of fascinating insight into key aspects of our industry

The conference will be joined once again by market research specialists Kantar who will share with attendees data on who is buying cards and where in the UK they’re doing this the most.

Keynote speakers this year include James Taylor, commercial director at family-run retailer Cardzone and David Gold, the Royal Mail’s director of external affairs & policy. David will be talking about how Royal Mail is working to protect the future sustainability of the Universal Service, the transformation of Royal Mail, and preparations for the all-important Christmas postal peak.

David is also willing to answer questions, so if you have any for him, please email them to amanda@gca.cards before the event!

James will be talking about his company’s acquisition of the Clintons chain back in March – nearly doubling its retail estate overnight to around 350 stores. It’s going to be a fascinating insight from James who runs the business with his father Paul and sister Alex!

Members have confirmed they’re travelling from Scotland and Ireland to attend and key retailer attendees such as WHSmith will be joined by many well-known award-winning independents and groups.
