The Greeting Card Association is continuing to champion the card industry, and the need for a reliable, regular, affordable and national postal service
GCA CEO Amanda Fergusson is shortly meeting with Kevin Hollinrake, Minister of State in the Department for Business and Trade, again, this time with colleagues from the Independent Retailers Association (IRC).
During the meeting, Amanda and other IRC members plan to share with Minister Hollinrake data from independent retailers that he can take away and act on.
The GCA is asking all retailers to complete the survey link below, and add in the comments section any other points, particularly about the impact of postal service and prices.
Amanda said: “We know the issues our members have had delivering consumer orders via Royal Mail, and feedback from retailers highlights consumer concern about stamp prices. We have written again to Royal Mail, Ofcom and relevant MPs on your behalf but would ask you too to ensure your voice is heard on this and other issues affecting retail by completing this survey.”
