Ling Design gets Caring for Christmas

Ling Design at care home

Cards from a recent Ling Design Caring at Christmas care home visit will be sent off today as part of the publisher’s Festive Friday activities.

Ling Design staff, including Steve Camm, national account manager; Christina Milstead, head of new product and export; Dawn Goold, senior designer, and designer Pippa Hobbs, paid a visit to a local care home recently as part of the GCA’s Caring At Christmas campaign.

The group visited Rush Hill Mews Care Home, 15 minutes from the Ling Design office in Bath, which provides care, nursing and dementia support to 62 residents.

The Ling Design staff took 2023 Christmas designs and mince pies to spend an afternoon with the residents, to encourage Christmas card writing and keeping connected at Christmas.

”We all really enjoyed the afternoon and it was lovely to know that residents had the opportunity to send Christmas cards to friends and family, especially their children who may not be expecting a Christmas card from their Mother or Father.’’ said marketing manager Patsy Gould. ”We thoroughly enjoyed getting out into our community to see just how important sending cards are. Residents came with their address books and lists and enjoyed writing their cards while tucking into a mince pie.’’

Ling Design will send the cards today –  #FestiveFriday – on behalf of the residents and hope to visit Rush Hill Mews again soon.
