Cherry Orchard will take over the successful gentle humour Camilla & Rose licence next month, following the closure of Peartree Heybridge.
Founders of the greeting card publisher Peartree Heybridge, Mike and John Partridge along with director Louise Martin, made the closure announcement at the end of September, saying they would stop taking orders at the end of October.
Cherry Orchard MD Jackie Collins told Greetings Today: ”Cherry Orchard are very excited to announce that on November 1 they will take over the hugely successful licence of Camilla & Rose, which was licensed for many years through Peartree Heybridge.
”Beverley [Fisher, creative director] and I have known Sarah Boddy the artist for quite some years and are subsequently so excited at the prospect of working with Sarah on the existing range and to work on future projects together in the future.
”We are hitting the floor running with regards to production of the range, pulling out all the stops to ensure we have as little interruption to sales as possible.
”To all our existing customers – please do get in touch with our Customer Care Team at Cherry Orchard, and of course all the lovely current stockists of Camilla & Rose that would like to continue stocking this fabulous, award-winning range.
”Finally, Beverley and I would like to thank Louise, John and Mike of Peartree Heybridge for their help and support in this transition of licence and wish them every success in their respective futures. Hopefully they will get to stay in this wonderful industry in some format.’’
