Since he burst onto screens in the 2003 movie Elf, singing loudly for all to hear as the best way to spread Christmas cheer, Buddy the Elf has become synonymous with the wide-eyed wonder, innocent joy and sheer magic of the festive season.
Now, for the first time ever in a new collaboration in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, multi-award winning American artist Jim Shore is capturing the spirit of Christmas through his new Elf by Jim Shore collection.
The new Elf by Jim Shore collection features Buddy and some of his favourite friends from the film, in a charming and wonderfully whimsical range of standing figurines and hanging ornaments.
The hero piece of the collection is sure to be The Name is Buddy, the Elf. Standing at 22cm tall, this fabulously festive figurine recreates the artwork of the film’s original theatrical release poster, with individual letters spelling out the word ‘e-l-f’. However, the letter ‘L’ is replaced by Buddy’s form, seeing the human-sized elf standing tall in his iconic green outfit, complete with yellow tights and a red feather in his cap.
