The last few places are available for greeting card publishers to join the GCA’s Dragons Speed Dating event.
The event, organised for members of the Greeting Card Association, gives publishers the opportunity to put their designs in front of buyers from a collection of major and independent retailers – with department store John Lewis included in the lineup.
“In previous years people have found it really valuable, because you get some really good feedback from the buyers. They have time to advise on things such as how to expand your range, and to offer feedback on your designs, something you don’t usually get in the industry,’’ explained Adriana Lovesy, GCA membership and marketing coordinator.
Other buyers confirmed are Scribbler, Postmark, WHSmith, Stationery Supplies, Card Factory, Diverse Brixton, Tesco, Presents Sheen, Calladoodles Carshalton, Jarrold Norwich, Between the Lines, Wishlist Raynes Park, Garsons Farm, Moonpig, The Only Place is Pictures in north London and Utility in Liverpool and Manchester.
