Greeting Card Association (GCA) CEO Amanda Fergusson attended the annual Trade Association Winter Event at Stationers’ Hall.
This Stationers’ Company event brings together trade associations linked to the communications, printing and media industries.
Held at Stationers’ Hall, the trade association leaders heard from speaker John Arnold about the current political landscape.
During a discussion about relationships with the EU, Amanda raised how issues on EU VAT are being felt in the greeting card industry. This is currently being reviewed by the government as part of its ongoing discussions with the EU.
The meeting also discussed Extended Producer Responsibility, the new regulations that will apply to all UK organisations that handle and supply packaging. Check here to find out if you need to report packaging data .
