Royal Mail has brought forward its last Christmas posting dates in light of current industrial action.
GCA CEO Amanda Fergusson met with Royal Mail again yesterday, and has confirmed that last posting dates have been brought forward due to the strike, with second class mail on Dec 12 and first class on Dec 16.
She said: ”We spoke to Royal Mail about the importance of getting the message out there to consumers, reminding their communities and their customers about the joy of card sending and to post theirs now, in order to encourage others to send their Christmas cards in plenty of time.”
