Stationery Supplies and Heyyy Cards offer personalised thinking of you cards

Heyy Cards and Stationery Supplies

Independent retailer Stationery Supplies and new publisher Heyyy Cards have teamed up to organise a Personalised Card printing event at Stationery Supplies’ Wilmslow store on Friday 25 September.

Yvette Clarkson, co-owner of Heyyy Cards, told us: “As a new publisher this is our very first opportunity to be involved with Thinking of You Week and we are super excited to be working with Stationery Supplies! We came up with the idea of setting up a personalisation booth to give members of the local community the unique opportunity to see their own card being printed and personalised in store.’’

Dan Clarkson, the designer behind Heyyy’s greeting cards, said he had enjoyed working on some bespoke designs for the occasion: “We wanted to create an offering of new cards specifically for the event, to give people a choice of designs that they could personalise, all promoting the ‘Thinking of You’ theme. We worked alongside Sarah to develop five new cards in a range of styles – hopefully people will like them on the day!’’

Sarah Laker, owner of Cheshire-based Stationery Supplies, is looking forward to getting members of the public involved in the joy of sending and receiving cards, but is also mindful of going the extra mile to give something back to the community in the process: “Not only did we want to organise a really fun day for our customers, but it was also really important for us to be able to include some charitable activities to give something back to the local community. Cheshire East Hospice is a charity that is close to home for us and provides an incredibly valuable service to many people within our local area.’’

As part of the organised charity event, £1 from the sale of every personalised card will be donated to Cheshire East Hospice, alongside proceeds from the action-packed day of events including a raffle, cake sale, lucky dip and much more.

Thinking of You Week, a Greeting Card Association initiative, runs from 19-25 September.
