Greetings Today has a fantastic new editor in Naomi MacKay. She has more than 30 years experience as a journalist, much of that within the B2B arena.
She commented: “I’m delighted to take the baton as the new editor of Greetings Today. I have more than 30 years of print and digital editorial experience in both consumer and B2B publishing, and have worked with Lema for several years, mostly on their flagship title Toys ‘n’ Playthings.
“I have particularly enjoyed talking to retailers over that time, discovering what drives them and what challenges they face, and I am looking forward to becoming immersed in the world of greeting cards and wrap.
“This is a relatively new market for me, but I am really looking forward to meeting publishers and retailers old and new and learning from you all, while making my own mark on what is a successful and well-respected magazine. I’d love to hear your comments and suggestions as the magazine moves forward.
“There are so many changes afoot within the greeting card sector, with sustainability and diversity coming to the fore. And after the past two years, it seems consumers are spending more on greeting cards than ever before – what an exciting time to join the industry!”
