The Greeting Card Association is heading to Manchester for the AGM on October 14.
The Greeting Card Association (GCA) is heading north for the first time for its annual AGM and conference which is just days away. The event will be held on Thursday October 14 from 10.15 to 4pm at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and is being organized by GCA council members Karen Wilson of Paper Salad, Raj Arora from Davora and GCA President Rachel Hare, owner of Belly Button – all Manchester businesses.
A great line-up of speakers is planned including Jo Bennett, Creative Director from Card Factory, who will be speaking about changes in consumer mindsets and the impact this may have on our industry. David Greaves, co-owner of Emotional Rescue, will share an honest look at his business life. While Scottish retailer, David Robertson will give his tips on building relationships with independent retailers and selling.
