As spring arrives, the team at The Great British Card Company are thrilled to welcome the reopening of shops and a return to some normality.
Through recent weeks the team have been quietly working away on fresh creative looks to deliver some fabulous new greetings card ranges. There is plenty to see with further launches in the pipeline, but here’s a taster selection of what you can expect from GBCC in spring/summer 2021.
AGunn
Designed by 2020 Henrie Award nominee Alex Gunn, each card in the AGunn range is an original piece of artwork in a colourful contemporary style. Each design features bold brushstrokes that evoke a sense of joy found in nature and countryside landscapes. There’s a real feeling of summer and sunshine, creating a sense of ‘wish you were there’. If you are longing for bright sunny days outdoors then this is the range to take you there!
Fable
Artist Jessica Johnson’s new range Fable features opulent colours and wonderfully detailed watercolour illustrations that celebrate the richness found in woodland and the natural world. The range takes inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement, medieval textiles and European folklore and each unique design is embellished with satin gold foil and emboss for a beautiful final effect.
Wildflower Press
A bright floral range inspired by 2021’s pressed flower trend to bring a fresh outdoor feel to any display. Creative designer Miki Rose has combined her own photographs of pressed wildflowers with inspired illustrations which are enhanced by rose gold foil, luxurious emboss and elegant tip-ons for a very special final look.
New Ages
GBCC have launched 57 new adult age designs with something for everyone from 18 – 90. In this collection you’ll find their trademark humour, with hilarious designs from Two Fat Gerkins and Young at Heart. They are also extending our popular Dark Room and Word for Word collections. Customers that loved the stylish laser-cut range Opia will be pleased to know this has been extended and as a finishing touch we’ve created an innovative gold and grey tassel style to add a bit of luxury to the overall collection.
