GOTY extends entry deadline

Gift of the Year Extends Deadline

Gift of the Year extends the entry deadline till December 11.

The Gift of the Year awards have announced they will be extending this year’s 2021 competition for an extra two weeks – until December 11, to allow more time for gift and card producers and manufactures to enter their products and ranges.

This year’s Gift of the Year has never been more important for suppliers and buyers with the absence of shows and physical events due to the ongoing health crisis. The Giftware Association wants to make this year the best competition year yet after the disrupted year that we have had. The Awards this year will be a gateway for buyers and retailers to find the best products and ranges, voted for by their peers in a virtual environment with the emphasis on keeping our industry thriving.

On the extension Sarah Ward, former CEO of The GA and now MD of BATF, which The GA is a part of said, “We are excited to extend the competition for a further two weeks as it allows time for those companies who are struggling to complete entries due to other deadlines and allows us to find brand new entrants. The quality and variety we have seen entered so far has been amazing, which you view on our website blog, and we are looking forward to finding out who the judges vote for.”

The awards will be presented by a virtual ceremony, with details to be released over the coming months.
