The annual Greeting Card Association annual general meeting and conference is scheduled for Wednesday November 4. The virtual event will be held between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
The agenda for the day has been released with the opportunity for all members to see how the industry is faring in these challenging times with the facts and figures from the GCA Annual Market Report, presented by UKG director and GCA Council member Darren Cave.
Panel discussions with retailers and publishers will cover topics such as diversity in the industry and in greeting cards, bricks and mortar retailing and the evolution of online card retailing. Panellists and speakers include GCA President and MD of Belly Button Designs Rachel Hare, Mark Callaby – MD of Ohh Deer, Chris Bryan – from Second Nature and GCA Vice President, Raj Arora – MD of Davora, buyers from Sainsbury’s and Waterstones as well as representatives from major retailers and independent stores.
