Exciting new developments for Gift of the Year Competition.
There are six more weeks to enter your products for Gift of the Year 2021 with many great items entered so far. The Giftware Association has three new announcements to make for the competition to make it more accessible and interesting for everyone.
A new judging section has been added to the line-up with The People’s Choice Award. This new award will be voted by the end consumer as the GA ask the general public, friends and family to vote for their favourite products in each category to see who takes out the ultimate people’s choice award. More information on this award will be available on the website.
The GA have also made the decision to amend the usual criteria for the competition to allow for the disruption caused by Covid-19. The awards are now accepting products and ranges new to the market in June/July 2020, covering the summer’s show seasons new products rather than only new products for 2021.
And finally, a new ‘Prodcast’ podcast will feature current entrants, previous winners and all those in between. Guests will share their experiences of the awards, highlight their products as well as their life in the home and gift industry. More information on this will be released in the coming weeks but enter now for a chance to be featured.
